An Important Stage When Levelling Up Your Life
Claiming ones throne is a powerful metaphor, although calling it a “metaphor” makes it sound like something whimsical. In fact it is a deep, fundamental truth.
We are, actually, all 100% responsible for our own domains. And our domain is first and foremost the things that we do in the world — with this body of ours.
And, fuck, that needs to include how it is that we treat our bodies.
But it’s also about taking full responsibility for who and what we are — knowing what that is, which includes knowing our place, and our circle of influence. And our circle of influence is (I think, or I think should be) the same as our circle of our responsibility.
And are we going to let go on in our kingdom that which is harmful, or untrue?
Because we do, each of us, have a kingdom.
In that the world we inhabit is unique to us — the way we see it, the things we know, everything we are aware of and think about or care about — we are the only ones who truly hold that particular kingdom.
And those kingdoms overlap — and we must negotiate and decide how we live with the many other kingdoms that touch ours, what relationship will we hold with each of those other sovereigns.
