CoCreations Makes Beautiful, Magical Apps
There is no reason that even scientific research cannot be made to be engaging and gorgeous for users
With the release of the đťšż Psi Telepathy App this week, CoCreations sets a new standard in UX (user experience); creating a data collection app in a fringe and taboo area (psychic phenomenon) which is fun and exciting for people to engage with.
CoCreations is unusual in this sense too, in that while their UX design is all in-house, they outsource the actual graphic design to a number of different partner agencies, depending on the particular feel needed for the intended market of the app.
There is a good reason that most apps and websites stick with what is vogue and familiar in their approach to design — it simplifies and shortens the time it takes new users to be able to use the app.
Apps should be intuitive to learn and use, but that does not need to mean being restricted only to existing known UX patterns. In fact, the best approach, in our opinion, is incorporating familiar design patterns and then enhancing them with other simple innovations that speak to real life meaning in the users’ minds.
